Polar Exploration

The University of Melbourne Archives holds a number of significant collections created by academics who were associated with Antarctica. A wide variety of Faculties and Departments of the University have been avid supporters of Antarctic research. These include the Schools of Meteorology and Botany, whose records are also held at the University of Melbourne Archives.
